July 8th I taught “Getting Connected & Getting Sexy” for the first time at Dancing Sky Studio in Port Townsend.

September 9th I will teach the same class again with the help of feedback from students of the first round. Information on Part 1 of this course HERE.

So far graduates have been unanimous. You’ve said, “That was good. We want more.”

I heard you.

September 9th, I am offering Part 2 of the “Getting Connected & Getting Sexy” workshop to graduates of the first course.

You are invited to take a few steps further into getting even more connected…and getting sexier…

In Part 1 we explored how to allocate attention on purpose.

In Part 2 we will practice sustaining attention on the space in between you and a partner while getting curious about one another in real time and asking the kinds of questions most people consider “off limits”.

In Part 1 we considered the idea that instead of contracting in response to sensation, we can stay present and expand.

In Part 2, we will play with gentle touch that will give you a visceral opportunity to track sensation as it builds in your body and watch how going *slower & lighter* actually creates MORE, not less, sensation for both you and your partner.

In Part 1 we explored the difference between “climax” and “orgasm” and how the wave-like, unending model of orgasm can be a model for all of living, not just in the bedroom.

In Part 2 we will explore in detail the types of communication that are climax-driven versus how to use words to slowly draw out sensation over time – like stretching sticky gooey taffy with words – and turn on yourself and your partner.

This workshop will include lecture and discussion, meditation exercises, light movement, partner and group communication exercises, as well as partner consensual touch exercises.

Just like the first workshop, HOW you participate and HOW MUCH you lean in is up to you. YOUR WAY is the right way. I will give you options and then you will have the opportunity to navigate those options with my support and the support of the room. That way we can have fun while trusting everyone is taking care of her/him/themselves!

I ask participants of this course to make the following agreements:

(1) I agree to pay attention to my boundaries and practice (not perfect but practice!) using my voice in order to represent my boundaries. Examples of boundaries include the physical edges of my body, my overall experience of safety in the room, my need for hydration and rest, my need for connection versus alone time, my need for stillness versus movement, my desire to sit out an exercise versus lean in, and so on.

(2) I agree to pay attention to others’ boundaries and practice listening closely and adjusting as needed to verbal and nonverbal cues about my impact on others.

(3) I agree to practice going slowly as part of the group exercises, to see what I might learn.

(4) I agree to share with Dr. Jessica Tartaro either during the workshop or after any feedback about my experience that would help me stay present, feel safe and find access to my turn on, whatever “turn on” means to me.

Sound good? If so, read on about purchasing your ticket!

There are two options for registering for this course. If you have already attended Part 1, you will sign up for Part 2 on its own. If you are considering attending the September 9th Part 1 course, you may register for both courses at once and save money!

It is a JOY to me to share what I have learned about how to live an orgasmic life in EVERY part of my life – my sex, my prayer, my dancing, my service, my work, my friendships and my family relationships. To me, ORGASMIC means I am honoring and listening to my body, my full body experience, and inviting that to guide me as I move with curiosity towards others, every step of the way. I am excited by this special opportunity to practice this way of living with you.

If you have questions or concerns about whether or not this course is right for you, email me at DrTartaro@gmail.com or PM me on Facebook.

If you have taken “Part 1”, I hope you will join me and your fellow graduates for this continuing journey on the wave! See you on September 16th!

– I welcome monogamous as well as polyamorous folk to the learning. I welcome straight, gay, lesbian, bi, queer and questioning friends to partake. I welcome transgender and intersex persons to join in. All ways of loving will be acknowledged and celebrated.

– You know what is best for you better than I. I am the facilitator of the room. You are the facilitator of you. Together we make a successful learning team!

– Above all I value safety. No one’s body ever turned on in healthy ways, in my experience, without that. Above all, I strive to create safety and an accessible pacing in all of my teaching. This is *especially* true in my teaching about sexuality.

– It is my belief that sexual or orgasmic energy is a vital part of our life force. It thrives in celebration and approval. It wilts in shame and judgment. In my workshop spaces I aim to embody PERMISSION for you to express your life energy/orgasmic energy as if you are and always were right for feeling turned on.

– I teach as a Coach, Therapist, Activist and Educator. I also relate as a Woman, Lover, Human and Friend. I believe my own feeling experience makes me a better healer and I relate my own personal stories and impact in my teaching.
