You are invited to an evening “sampler” of a kind of couples work that isn’t just a therapist and two clients sitting behind closed doors talking about delicate hearts. But is, instead, a circle of couples admitting out loud what’s good and what’s hard, in front of one another, with a guide (that’s me) to support the process.
My name is Dr. Jessica Tartaro. I work with couples privately as an intimacy coach. And so I hear a lot in confidential spaces about what makes intimacy both hard and beautiful.
After over a decade of this work, I believe that couples have so much to offer *other* couples, in the right container, to help the journey. Including being able to say, “We too know that struggle”.
“We Too” is an evening to experience a taste of a different model of couples work, one that I will guide, but that will include opening some closed doors so that couples can skill build together, share resources together and share struggles, together.
What couples are saying…
“I left tonight feeling closer to my husband and more secure in our relationship. Meeting other couples in our community and hearing their stories both similar and different from ours was inspiring. Jessica is both an amazing facilitator and human! I am looking forward to joining more sessions with couples in our community.”
– Leia R, married 21 years.
“I left last night with a sense of grounding, feeling like I am not alone in this endeavor called relationship and a feeling of trust in ourselves to become the couple we would like to be together. I also felt a lot of kindness and curiosity towards my partner.”
– Joy, Married 20+ years
This evening will include an invitation at the end to participate in a 5-session couples journey with me in the spring. Capacity is 4-5 couples.
We will gather from 5:30-7:30pm on Monday March 11th at a private residence in Chimacum. Cost, $35-$50 sliding scale, per couple. Cash, check or Venmo. Address will be sent upon payment and registration.
Couples considering joining are asked to schedule a brief interview with me before registering to discuss participation.
** Payment and registration in advance is required. **
Contact me with questions and to schedule an interview. And check out the event on Facebook here.
